Don't hit it more than once, just give it a single click and wait, it'll stop the mod loading process and let you get in. Go to your mods, hit disable all, and then hit reload. After you've done that, you can add back mods until you find your limit again, hope this helped!

When I load up tmodloader 64 bit, I have a resolution of 1280 by 720 which is my 2nd monitors resolution, however I am playing on my main.
